McShares, Inc. Basic Benefits

This is not an employee contract. This is a brief overview of some of the benefits offered at this time by McShares, Inc. It is not all inclusive and benefits are subject to change or termination at the discretion of the employer.
 
  1. SICK LEAVE: Each full-time employee may accumulate days at the rate of 6 days per year with a maximum of 30 days total accumulated. This benefit applies only after one full year of service. Sick leave may not be considered as extended vacation time. During the first year the days are pro-rated.
  2. VACATION: Each full-time employee is provided vacation according to the following schedule. During the first year and upon entering each new category the days are pro-rated.
    0 to 1 year of service 0 vacations days
    1 to 2 years of service 5 vacation days
    3 to 5 years of service 10 vacation days
    6 to 9 years of service 10 vacation days, plus employee's birthday, plus 1 personal day
    10 to 14 years of service 15 vacation days, plus employee's birthday, plus one personal day
    15 plus years of service 15 vacation days, plus employee's birthday, plus 4 personal days
       
  3. PROFIT SHARING PLAN: McShares, Inc. provides this benefit for full time employees. To become a participant in this plan, each full-time employee must:
    (1) be age 21
    (2) have one year of service
  4. 401K PLAN: McShares Inc. provides this benefit for full-time employees. To become a participant in this plan, each full-time employee must:
    (1) be age 21
    (2) have one year of service
    McShares, Inc. does not provide matching funds.
  5. SECTION 125 PLAN: McShares, Inc. provides this pre-tax deduction benefit for full time employees. To become a participant in this plan, each full-time employee may enroll once per year effective June 1.
  6. GROUP INSURANCE: McShares, Inc. offers group hospitalization, medical and dental insurance. Provided, also is a life insurance policy, accidental death & dismemberment and long term disability insurance. Participation is at the discretion of the employee and arrangements may be made with Human Resources for deductions of the insurance premiums from payroll checks.
  7. PAY PERIODS: For hourly paid employees the pay week begins on Wednesday and ends on Tuesday. The employee is paid weekly on Monday following the end of the preceding work week. Time clocks are used and the accurate use of these is important since this is the basis of the employee's pay. Salaried employees are paid bi-weekely, on Monday, following the end of the preceding pay period.
  8. HOLIDAYS: McShares, Inc. follows the usual business pattern with respect to holidays. Annually a list is prepared and distributed so each employee knows, in advance, which days and when these days will be recognized. All full-time employees receive pay for the holiday.
  9. WORKING HOURS: Office Personnel-Normal working hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. A one hour lunch is allowed. Overtime may occur, but is not a normal or usual occurrence. Non-Office Personnel-Depends on the job assignment and shift. You will be advised of the work hours, the days and number of days required for the workday/week.
  10. TOBACCO USE: Company policy prohibits tobacco usage, except in the designated areas.
